I'm James, I just wanted to tell you a little about "James Web Design" and
myself. We don't cut corners when producing a web site. We include meta tags,
search engine listings. FTP (Uploading your site). We aren't done until you
are satisfied. And if you decide to have us maintain your site, we are never
done! Web sites should be kept fresh - updated regularly. This keeps people
coming back. It is also important to keep things consistent. People must
understand how to navigate your web site, with this in mind we design a navigation system
that remains consistent through the site. Links are the backbone of the internet, so we never place additional charges for links, and make every effort to check all of our links. On the sites we maintain we check regularly. We provide links to contact the webmaster. Hits are critical to a successful web site. The term hit is what it is called when someone browses a web page. I have spoken to numerous people who have put there web site up themselves and were discouraged by not having any response to the site. "I put a web page up and after 6 months I only got one hit." This is not an unusual story. If a web site is not created properly, search engines will not "see" it. Search engines have criteria that they look for in a web site. If the web site does not meet the criteria, it either won't get a listing, or will get a poor listing. I guarantee a top 20 listing with all of my sites. If you can't find a web site with a search engine, the only way it is going to get any traffic is to advertise it. "I get 5 to 20 catalog requests per day, internationally!"
